Abstract

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) remains one of the leading causes of mortality and disability worldwide. According to the World Health Organization, cardiovascular diseases claim the lives of more than 17 million people annually, with a significant proportion of these deaths being associated with acute coronary syndrome and, in particular, ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). Despite the rapid development of interventional treatment methods, mortality rates during the acute phase of myocardial infarction remain high, especially in cases complicated by adverse events.
